Individual Therapy

Individual Therapy

Therapy services are offered to eligible individuals at least once a week and are provided by licensed social workers trained to assess and support one’s psychosocial, behavioral and cognitive well being. Our ability to identify signs of depression and anxiety helps us tailor individual treatment plans to assist residents in coping with the transition into an assisted living community. The major goals of our one on one therapy sessions are to improve  self-esteem, support a more positive outlook on life, increase socialization within the community, and reduce feelings of isolation. Residents who receive individual therapy services provided by Senior Support Network can benefit by developing a trusting relationship with our caring clinicians. We relay residents’ concerns and maintain consistent communication with site staff. We maintain ongoing relationships with the residents’ families, as needed, to ensure cooperation between all support systems.
